Volunteers Needed
Volunteer Program
Thank you for your interest in volunteering to become part of the Ipswich Emergency Management team. During a disaster it is important for the community to come together and provide assistance to each other. We are committed to developing a successful volunteer program and would like to become affiliated with C.E.R.T. However, at this time we have much work to do before we can undertake such an endeavor. Please check the C.E.R.T. website to find out more information and to decide if this is something you would be interested in the future.
When the time comes we will organize all the training involved to get willing volunteers the certification they need. If you would like to be placed on a list to be notified when this program begins please email us and provide your name address and contact information. When the time comes we will contact you about the program.
Licensed Amateur Radio Operator
If you are currently a licensed amateur radio operator and would like to be part of ARES/RACES, we would like to hear from you. We are in the process of becoming re-affiliated with ARES/RACES and we will need radio operators for emergency communications. This information will be stored and you will be contacted once we schedule a meeting to discuss this program in the near future. Training will be provided for this program as well.
