Scheduled EV Charging Pilot Program
The Electric Light Department (ELD) has purchased 12 ChargePoint Level 2 Chargers and is giving them away for free to electric vehicle (EV) owners as part of our Scheduled Charging Program. In exchange for the free charger, EV owners are allowing us to suppress their charging rate during hours of peak demand (weekdays 5:00PM - 9:00PM) for the duration of the 3-year term of the program.
We still have 6 chargers leftfor customers who wish to participate in this program. You can start the application process by calling the program hotline at (413) 489-0141, or by emailing EV@mmwec.org.
