[ARCHIVED] Board of Selectmen Seek Citizen to Serve on Electric Sub-Committee

The standing Electric sub-committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Selectmen, which serves as the Electric, Water, and Sewer Commissions (pursuant to Chap 533 of the Acts of 1965 and Art 53 of Special Town Meeting dtd 15 March 1966). The Electric Sub-Committee typically meets the first Wednesday of each month.

Organizational Charter: Electric sub-committee consist of five voting members of whom two are commissioners (Selectmen); two are citizens (appointed by the Selectmen); and one is a representative from the Town's Finance Committee. Established by the Board of Selectmen.

Interested residents should submit a complete application package including: cover letter, resume and Board and Committee Request Form. Hardcopies may be submitted to the Board of Selectmen’s Office, 25 Green Street, Ipswich, MA 01938, or electronically to jenniferb@ipswich-ma.gov.
