The mosquito surveillance traps are going to be deployed by Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control District during the week of May 11-15th, 2020.
Weekly collections from these traps will start for all municipalities during the week of May 18th, 2020 and will end October 5th , 2020
Mosquito submission to the MA State Lab for EEE/WNV testing will start June 15th, 2020 and will end October 5th , 2020 (unless MA DPH issues an extension and conditions are suitable for District virus response).
Local Boards of Health will receive DPH EEE/WNV test results of weekly submitted mosquito pools/batches by the end of the same week. This will assist in BOH planning for timely public notification and District virus response.
