[ARCHIVED] Volunteers Needed (Medical and Non-Medical)

The town of Ipswich may work with the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) should a need for volunteers arise in the future to support COVID19 Vaccination clinics.

The MRC organizes local, regional and statewide volunteer resources to respond to public health initiatives or emergencies across the Commonwealth. Volunteers with and without medical experience are needed to support different aspects of their work, and will supplement existing emergency and public health resources.

  • To sign up to volunteer, go to: www.maresponds.org click on Register Now and choose Region 3 and unit Northern Essex County MRC
  • Fill out and sign your CORI/SORI and email it with an image of you holding your driver’s license next to your face to LiisaJackson@mrcvolunteer.org

If you have questions, contact the Northern Essex County MRC unit leader Liisa Jackson at LiisaJackson@mrcvolunteer.org or 774-278-0059

Well-meaning but unverified volunteers who spontaneously show up at emergencies are often unable to be utilized. If you want to be able to assist your community during an emergency, now is the time to register to be part of the Medical Reserve Corps.
