The Ipswich Utilities Department and Department of Public Works have teamed up on a water, drainage, and roadway improvement project along Linebrook Road. The construction contract has been awarded to C. Naughton Corp, of Bridgewater, MA. The Town’s engineer, New England Civil Engineering Corp., will have a representative on-site throughout the project.
The first phase of the project involves replacing the existing aging 8-inch cast iron water main with a new 8-inch ductile iron water main between Washington Street and Pine Street. Drainage improvements will constructed between Washington Street and Route 1. This phase of the project will begin June 1 and is expected to be completed by November 1, 2016.
