[ARCHIVED] NO Dogs on Pavilion Beach

***There are NO dogs allowed on Pavilion Beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day (May 30, 2016-Sept. 5, 2016). ***


-If you are on Pavilion Beach with your dog you are subject to the following actions:
-You will be asked for ID
-Residents must provide proof of Town Dog Registration - Ipswich Town By-Law Chapter 15 Section 5 (b)1----M.G.L Ch 140 Section 137
-Everyone must provide proof of Rabies Vaccination ----Ipswich Town By-Law Chapter 15 Section 5(b)1.----M.G.L Ch 140 Section 137
-Everyone must show a method of removal/disposal for dog waste.----Ipswich Town By-Law Chapter 15 Section 5(c)1-6.
-If you are found in violation of the above regulations/state laws, You face fines up to $50 for each offense.
-IN ADDITION to any of the above violations, You will be asked to leave the beach immediately or face arrest for trespassing by the Ipswich Police.

***Dogs may be directly walked on leash to an awaiting boat at the waterline. Make sure you have pick-up bags at the ready in case your dog decides the beach is a good bathroom....and TAKE YOUR BAGS WITH YOU, DO NOT leave them on the beach.


***All SERVICE ANIMALS (as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are allowed on the beach year round, with their registered handler, provided they meet ADA guidelines.
