Maggie was a tremendous asset to the Town these past two years, and accomplished some outstanding things benefiting the community through the Open Space Program. She improved public trail conditions and signage working with volunteers; she enhanced the Town's Conservation Restriction Monitoring program; she updated the Town's open space GIS data information; she created Open Space Program outreach materials and activities; she worked with Ipswich High School students on open space conservation projects; and she helped to improve conditions on conservation land where invasive plant species are part of the landscape. She did all of this and more with energy, enthusiasm, confidence, and a great sense of humor and a smile! Maggie will be entering the Tufts University Masters Program in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning this fall, and we are confident it is the continuation of a long and valuable career in land protection. Thank you Maggie for making your mark on Ipswich!
