The following vacancies were announced by the Board of Selectmen on September 19, 2016:
1. Agricultural Commission – Five vacancies for alternates – 1 year appointments
2. Athletic Playing Fields Study Commission – Two vacancies – 3 year appointments3. Cultural Council – Two vacancies – 3 year appointments
4. Government Study Committee – Four vacancies – 3 year appointments5. MBTA Advisory Board – Position available for a member of the BOS or your designee (see attached letter from MBTA Advisory Board for more information)
6. Shade Tree and Beautification Committee – Two vacancies – 3 year appointments7. Zoning Board of Appeals – One vacancy (full member) – 3 year appointment; one vacancy (associate) – 1 year appointment
Residents interested in serving in one of this positions should complete a Boards and Committees Appointment Request (click on link and view application information under "Interested in Serving?")and submit to the Board of Selectmen's office by October 12, 2016. all interested applicants will be required to attend the October 17 Board of Selectmen's meeting for a brief interview.
