The Board of Selectmen adopted a new committee at their meeting on December 19, the Public Safety Facility Committee. This committee is to identify and evaluate suitable location(s) for a combined public safety facility and make recommendations to the Selectmen. A complete description of the committee and charge is available in the link below. The Board of Selectmen seeks interested residents to serve on this committee.
Membership is as follows:
- Police Chief
- Fire Chief
- Board of Selectmen
- Citizens (4) – 1 preferably with engineering/architectural experience
- Police Union Representative
- Fire Union Representative
- Communications Officers Union Representative
Residents interested in serving on this committee should complete a Board and Committee Appointment Request form (available on the Board & Committee webpage) and submit to the Board of Selectmen's office by January 11, 2017.
