Sustainable Landscape Maintenance Presentation

On Wednesday, March 22, the Ipswich Conservation Commission Speaker’s Series will be hosting Jamie Banks and Jeanne Kempthorne of Quiet Communities for a program on ‘Sustainable Landscape Maintenance’.  This program is at 7 p.m. at the Ipswich Town Hall in Room C and is open and free to the general public.  For further information about this presentation, please call the Ipswich Conservation Commission Office at 978 356-6661.
The presentation will discuss specific sustainable landscape practices that can be used to improve not only plant and lawn health, but also human and animal health and environmental quality.   Jamie Banks is a health and environmental scientist and Executive Director of Quiet Communities a nonprofit organization promoting quieter, healthier, more sustainable landscape maintenance.  Jeanne Kempthorne is an attorney and mediator based in Salem and co-chair of the Legal Advisory Council for Quiet Communities.
