The Ipswich Treasurer/Collector reminds citizens that calendar year 2017 Motor Vehicle Excise Tax bills were mailed out and are due by March 13, 2017. Payments must be received, not postmarked, by the due date to avoid interest and penalties.
When mailing a payment please use the envelope enclosed with the bill. This will assure the most efficient processing of your payment. You also have the ability to pay your bill online, view your bill online or set up email reminders for all real estate and motor vehicle bills at http://www.ipswichma.gov/131/Online-Payments
Office hours are Monday, 8AM – 7PM, Tuesday through Thursday, 8AM – 4PM, and Friday 8AM – 12PM. There is also a payment box outside Town Hall for after hour payments.
