Maggie contributed to the Open Space Program and the larger Ipswich community through a number of initiatives this past year including; developing the Ipswich Rocks! program; working with the Ipswich High School Trail Stewards doing trail maintenance and the Ipswich Sustainability Scholars constructing trail signage; conducting conservation restriction monitoring and reporting on land held in conservation restriction by the Conservation Commission; updating the Town's trails and conservation restriction GIS data used for mapping and monitoring site work; organizing volunteer work days; and leading guided trail walks. She did all of that with an enthusiastic, good nature attitude that made her a pleasure to work with. And to our good fortune, Maggie will be returning in the fall for a second service year as Land Stewardship Coordinator. We look forward to the great things she will accomplish for land conservation in Ipswich over the next eleven months!
