Beginning Monday, July 30, curbside pickup of a bulky item will require a $10 sticker. This measure, approved as part of the FY19 Ipswich Operating Budget, is due to a sharp increase in the number and cost of bulk items being put at the curb by residents.
Stickers can be purchased at the following retailers: Conley's Drug, Cumberland Farms (70 Central Street location), DJ's Variety, Richdale, Shaw's and Tedford's.
Residents are allowed ONE bulky item (for example: sofa, chair, mattress, box spring or carpet) per week. Carpet from ONE room only should be cut into 3' by 3' sections and rolled up. Carpet rolls from ONE room can be put out together as one bulky item.
