Ipswich is offering two special recycling events on Saturday, September 29, from 9 AM to noon. Electronics recycling will be held at the Winthrop School in the parking lot. Household hazardous waste will be collected at the transfer station.
Please note that latex paint is NOT hazardous waste. To dispose of latex paint, dry the paint by leaving the can open or by using sawdust or kitty litter to hasten the drying process. When the paint is dry, place the can and the lid in the trash.
