The Bay Circuit Trail Committee is seeking new members to serve on the committee, including attending meetings, maintaining the Ipswich portion of the trail, coordinate and sponsor hikes and other trail related events.
The Bay Circuit Trail is managed by a non-profit organization called the Bay Circuit Alliance, which relies upon local support to maintain the trails. The Bay Circuit Trail Committee represents the town of Ipswich within the Bay Circuit Trail Alliance. The Bay Circuit Trail is a series of open-space corridors which form a loop around greater Boston, from Hingham to Newburyport, and the Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to its preservation and use. Committee members routinely interact with the Conservation Commission, Regional Planning Agencies, and the Department of Environmental Management in the furtherance of their objectives.
